It was a weekend of playoffs and league games as the football season in Europe nearing its end.
The titles were decided in both Finland and the Czech Republic while the European Football League held its first-ever playoff weekend. The Danish National League held his last regular season game of the year as Norway saw his second game of the year. Swiss National League is reduced to a final regular season game after the last full weekend of play. The weekend also featured a key IFAF national team clash between Hungary and Israel.
The Vysocina Gladiators won their first-ever Czech title by shutting out reigning champions Prague Lions 23-0. Gladiators QB Clark Hazlett rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns to lead his team.
The previously winless Triangle Razorbacks (1-5) surprised the 89ers AaB (2-4) and atoned for a previous loss to AaB by beating the visitors 38-17 in the final regular season game of the Danish National League.
In a championship duel between the two best offensive teams of the Finnish Maple League, defenses dominated the day as defending champion Kuopio Steelers edged the Helsinki Roosters 14-0 in Maple Bowl XLII.
The Hamburg Sea Devils scored the winning touchdown late in the game, then clung to the Wroclaw Panthers 30-27 to advance to the first-ever European Football League title game.
The Frankfurt Galaxy took charge of their semi-final game against the Cologne Centurions from the opening whistle, scoring all their points in the first half to defeat the Centurions 36-6 and earn a place in the historic match for the ELF title.

The Hungarian team secured a place among the top American football nations in Europe by dominating Israel 44-14 on Saturday in a Group B qualifying match for the IFAF European Championship on the weekend. last end in Hungary.
