East Carolina is looking to correct a quirk in its series history against Temple on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The Pirates (4-4, 2-2 AAC) have never beaten the Owls (3-5, 1-3) at home in three games while both were members of the American Athletic Conference.

Temple is in shock after losing their last three straight before Saturday’s game by an average score of 45-8. A win would give the Pirates a four-game winning streak at home in the AAC game, which would be the longest in their history.

Saturday’s ECU-Temple game can only be streamed on ESPN +. The game is also available to ESPN + subscribers through the ESPN app and ESPN.com. The link to watch it is here.

Game Day Details: When does the ECU-Temple game start?

Who: Temple Owls at East Carolina Pirates

Or: Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Greenville, North Carolina

Dated: Saturday 6 November

Line of bet: ECU is a 16 point favorite.

Series history: According to Temple records, he leads 9-8. According to ECU, the series is tied 9-9. The problem is the Owls’ 45-28 win in 1986. Temple canceled the win for using an ineligible player, ECU says the match was confiscated in favor of the Pirates.
