Watch Raiders vs. Washington Soccer Team: TV Channel, Live Stream Info, Start Time
Washington @ Las Vegas
Current records: Washington 5-6; Las Vegas 6-5
What there is to know
The Washington football team will face the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:05 p.m. ET next Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. These two teams enter their game on tiptoe after passing their previous opponents.
Everything was tied 9-9 at halftime for Washington and the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, but Washington stepped up the second half to a 17-15 victory. Washington’s RB JD McKissic filled out the stats sheet, scoring a rushing touchdown in addition to snatching one that received a touchdown.
Speaking of close games: It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Las Vegas finally got the result they were hoping for on Thursday with a 36-33 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The victory came even with the Raiders handicapping themselves with 198 penalty yards. They can attribute much of their success to quarterback Derek Carr, who had a touchdown and 373 yards on 39 attempts, and RB Josh Jacobs, who scored a rushing touchdown. Carr hadn’t helped his team much against the Cincinnati Bengals last week, so it was a good turnaround for him.
The special teams collected 18 points for Las Vegas. K Daniel Carlson scored five field goals, the longest at 56 yards in the fourth quarter, which ultimately made the difference in the game.
Washington is now 5-6 while the Raiders sit at a 6-5 mirror image. Washington is 2-2 after wins this season, Las Vegas 3-2.
